Canada's Latest Express Entry Draw - July 12th, 2023

On July 12th, Canada held another Express Entry draw, inviting 3,800 candidates in a French language category-based selection. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 375.

IRCC invited 800 candidates in an all-program draw.
Minimum CRS score needed was 505, higher than the previous week's category-based invitations but lower than the July 4th draw's requirement of 511.

Canada recently held its latest Express Entry draw on March 31, 2023, and invited 7,000 new candidates to apply for permanent residence. This draw saw a decrease in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement, which dropped to 484 points, down from the previous draw's requirement of 491 points.

As of April 1st, 2023, the federal minimum wage in Canada has increased by 7 percent. This increase is a result of the Government of Canada's commitment to improving the lives of Canadians by ensuring fair wages for workers.

The new federal minimum wage is now set at  increase to $16.65 as of April 1, 2023. This comes after the Consumer Price Index rose by 6.8% in 2022.. This increase will benefit over a million Canadian workers who earn minimum wage, including many who are struggling to make ends meet.
