Work & Study in Canada

Students completing their university degree, diploma or secondary schooling in Canada are eligible to attain a work-visa offering them to opportunity to attain work experience. This creates a path-way to gain world-class lifestyle experiences and to be a part of the diversified work culture in Canada. Not only after education but also during the course of study, students are permitted to work after college or university hours limiting to 20 hours a week. This helps students to work and earn while studying like covering up accommodation and living expenses

On-campus | Off-campus work

No employment authorization is required for international students to work on the institution campus or off-campus if they are registered for any degree or diploma program within a Canadian educational institution. They may start to work as soon as the program/course begins. Many educational institutions have co-op programs which is detailed program to switch between work and study efficiently. This is achieved through integrated and structured curricula different from the normal curriculum where the institution partners with the industry.

Working after graduation

All international students graduating from a Canadian educational institution are eligible to work for three years after completion of study by applying for a work-permit through Post Graduation Work Permit Program(PGWPP). This opens avenues for the newly graduated freshers to gain Canadian working experience and extensive career opportunities.
