In general, Canadian citizens do not require a NAFTA/USMCA professional (TN) visa to enter the United States . The participant must, however, have a TN visa if he or she wishes to bring dependents (spouses and children under 21) to the United States. Dependents are then eligible for TD nonimmigrant visas. CBP-designated U.S. ports of entry can be used to apply for the TN nonimmigrant status.
