Immigrate to Canada through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

The Provincial Nominee Program known as PNP is an option for the applicant who has already made up his mind about where he wish to reside in Canada, he can apply under this program. The PNP is particular to all individual province in Canada with the province having sovereignty over its guidelines. With this program, applicants with relevant work experience, skills and academic qualifications are called by the respective Provincial governments to contribute to its state. These immigrants will be granted as the status of PR that province. Yet, in most cases of PNP’s, the applicant may be required to have a job offer from a particular provincial employer to become qualified for nomination and then apply for the permanent resident visa. However, some of the provinces like Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan have started programs where skilled professionals without job offers can also file applications. To those who want to immigrate to the province of Quebec, a different application has to be filed and a Quebec Selection Certificate has to be acquired from the Quebec provincial government.
