Quebec Skilled Worker Program

This program is designed beneath the Canada-Quebec agreement on Immigration. Professionals who are not qualified under FSW program should determine their eligibility with Quebec skilled worker program. Eligibility

  • Applicant's age and where applicable dependent family members' age, this program offers credits for children and their age.
  • Applicant and spouse's qualifications
  • English Language skills and/or French language skills of the applicant and where applicable for spouse;
  • If the applicant does not know the French language, his readiness to learn the same.
  • Domain of work experience

Apply There are two stages for applying as an immigrant to Canada as a Quebec-selected skilled worker:

  • Apply to get the certificate of selection (Certificat de sélection du Québec) from Quebec government.You will be assessed by Quebec government using their own rules and that certificate reveals that Quebec has endured you as an immigrant.
  • Once Government of Quebec chooses you, apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for PR and for that part of the process, an applicant needs to have a medical exam and police certificates.
