Although an individual does not need a visa to enter Canada, they are required to possess a Work Permit if they intend to work in Canada for any period of time.

Work permits are available, but there are a few conditions you must meet, including the following:

• If you are looking for a job in Canada, you must have received an offer
• and the LMIA from your employer.
• In case your family is joining you, you must have sufficient funds to cover their needs.
• You must also have no criminal record.
• It is critical that you are healthy.

Global Talent Stream

The Global Talent Stream is a major temporary path. In this route, 80 percent of applications will be processed within two weeks and so is the work permit processed in two weeks. It provides employers with the opportunity to quickly recruit high-skilled personnel. Employers may fall into either Category A or B.  

In addition, employers must comply with certain other requirements. They must, for example, show that hiring the foreigner will be beneficial to Canada in the long run. This can be accomplished by demonstrating that the new hire will create jobs for Canadians or will transmit skills and knowledge to Canadians. Additionally, the employer must demonstrate that a minimum(Median) wage is being paid to the foreign employee. However, minimum wages may vary between occupations and provinces.

Temporary foreign workers should receive wages comparable to those paid to Canadian and permanent resident employees employed for the same job and location, with similar skills and years of experience.
